Grand Era: The Holy Battle
This world once started as Chaos, where all the highs and lows were inseparable. But one day, the Creator decided to tear apart this chaotic world into 2 realms: the Earth and the Heavens.
The result of this event being, 5200 eggs were sent down to the lands all over Earth and the Heavens. And these eggs later gave birth to 5200 powerful Genesis Heroes, who became the leaders or the conquerors of many different areas.
The Creator wished to further reform this new world, so the Holy Grail was his gift to them. The rumors said that whoever had possession of the Holy Grail would have the whole world in their hand. Yet no one knew what the Holy Grail looked like and where it was. In order to solve this ever-lasting mystery, the brutal and ground-shaking battles between the descendants of the Earth and the Heavens were inevitable.
There are 6 main regions that are home to 6 natural elements:
Pusylom — The Summit of Light
It is unknown to humans when the divine Pusylom was formed. It is said to emerge when Earth first appeared.
The true mystery is the power source of this peak high up in the clouds. The story spread to the ears of some Genesis Heroes, and a lengthy, bloody, land sliding war followed. In the end, only a few came out as winners and ruled over the Summit of Light.
Hulet — The Island of Water
The cold, gloomy island of Hulet is surrounded by magical water, which is the hideout for various sea monsters. The first resident was a vagabond Genesis Hero, who inhabited the island for its mouth-watering fruits that could be found nowhere else.
One time, he dropped an apple seed down the water, and to his surprise, it turned into a fierceful sea monster. He tried dropping more, and the same transformation occurred. Curious, he took a sip of this water and gained an immeasurable amount of power. Since then, he started building a whole empire of its own on the Hulet island, for he believed the sea that flowed around him was the Holy Grail itself.
Reverus — The Land of Plant
When the Holy Grail was sent to Earth, a heavenly seed was also dropped by The Creator down to Reverus. Is it just a coincidence?
The seed proceeded to grow into thousands of different botanical species, and what’s more, the fresh meat of big games also grew on trees!
However, only true residents of the land were able to enjoy this perk, which led to a calamitous battle on this land between those with giant greed.
Aides — The Dark Valley
It goes without saying that if there’s war, there are casualties. But what comes after death itself?
Some Genesis Heroes, with Soul Chaser — a ruthless killer — being one of them, have found the answer to this question after following the spirits of the fallen soldiers from the Holy Grail War to an underground realm covered in darkness. They then absorbed the dark energy and grew in power. Could this be the energy emitted from the great Holy Grail?
Thundres — The Lake of Thunder
The heaven-sent Holy Grail also caused a colossal meteor to fall down to the lands, leaving behind an enormous impact crater.
Strange enough, natural disasters started targeting the giant hole, and heavy rains turned it into a lake. The ferocious series of lightning strikes attracted some Genesis Heroes, and those who came were granted immense powers. Yet, no one has been able to reach the chunk of the meteorite that lies at the bottom of the Thundres.
Rubyash — The Fiery Mountains
The mountains of Rubyash would have been no different from ordinary mountains if the Samadhi fires from the notorious Eight-way Trigram Crucible never fell down.
The magnificent Monkey King was trapped inside this crucible in his battles against the Heavens, but he managed to break free and lead to this whole tragedy of Huoyanshan. However, the Rubyash mountains could never break free from this raging fire. More Genesis Heroes have arrived at this land over time and became overflowed with magical powers.
